Acting For the Camera

I've been working as a filmmaker for over twenty five years. In That time I've developed a simple technique whereby an actor can breakdown a scene for both cold readings and On Camera, and thereby deliver a true, simple, real performance which enhances character.

The toughest thing an actor will ever do is to be themselves and be natural On Camera.

My friend Darla asked me if I would put an acting class together to help the modern actor learn how to simply develop an interesting character out of their own skin.

My first class is almost completed in Santa Monica at the Promenade Playhouse where we have been doing original scenes from films and television shows which I'm in pre-production on.

I see a dramatic difference in the performance of both the new actors, as well as the seasoned professionals, once they apply this technique.
